The presentation regarding the spa potential and the opportunity for its development, given by Mr. Nicu Radulescu, the president of OPTBR, aroused a lively interest; it was concluded that a more active and efficient partner with the authorities is needed both for the elaboration of adequate legislation and for investments in major infrastructure from and to the spas; the contribution of private investors was underlined, but it cannot cover the necessary investments in order to capitalize efficiently on the resources available to Romania
The Stock Exchange and the Spa Tourism Forum enjoyed, as every year, the support and Patronage of the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, of the World Tourism Organization - WTO and of the European Association of Spa Resorts - ESPA.
Numerous representatives of the tourism business environment, specialists and personalities of European value were present at Slanic Moldova; among them were many representatives of spa tourism companies, travel agencies, other companies and companies with activities in connection with spa tourism.

We appreciate that the main purpose of the event, promoting the spa potential, the therapeutic effects of natural healing factors, as well as the tourist values of the resorts, was achieved, because the exhibitors presented their potential and of course, treatment and wellness offers, including holiday holidays, in an extremely pleasant setting, in stands located in the central park of the resort.

The Stock Exchange and the Spa Tourism Forum enjoyed a large presence, which denotes the interest of the participants for this tourism sector.
It is worth noting the signs of improvements to the image of the resort, through the efforts of local authorities, who have developed a project to transform the resort into a "green resort", after the German model, and has a project to renovate the Casino, but also through the effort to some investors, who modernized or rebuilt superior units.
